I was prepping for Ng3 and then to exchange my e5 bishop for your knight to solidify my material advantage

even Nf4 was possible

Yeah, I think my problem with this one was that I got too set in what I wanted to do. Your pawns kinda smothered me too, which I should have taken care of. Oh well, gg Confused

this game started out really well and the middlegame was actually pretty solid

i think what really helped with the quality of this game was the fact that neither of us rushed out and crossed the center median with no plan and no backup...in fact, the only piece that you crossed with (other than crossing to capture or trade quickly) was your knight and that's where the problems really started

good game! Very Happy

just wondering, but what was your plan?

Was going to crash your king side with my pawns, and let my queen and knight dictate your moves. I slipped up with the knight move, obviously. That was boneheaded. I was planning on bringing my king with me, and hopefully just walk right by the threats of your queen and rook.
